Seasonal tie-ins provide great opportunities for you to tap into your customer market, by creating a reason for your customers to need or want your product or service. People are very conscious of popular holidays and tend to be responsive to offers that they see to be logically linked to those holidays. However there are a number of obscure holidays that it could be fun to have a promotion or sale for… or even an event. Sometimes the more obscure the better.
There are not a lot of August holidays, most of us know August as ‘Back to School’ season, however there are still creative, unique, and new reasons to have an event or sale. Find or even make up a holiday or week to celebrate your product or service. Try to make and leverage the connection between your product or service and the season.
